Are you staying warm enough in the chilly cold weather lately? Need a little help? Let’s see what the BuffUSA tech fleece headband can do. Do you wear running headbands when you exercise outside or indoors? At a basic level, it’s helpful to have something to wick away the sweat from our foreheads and keep it from dripping into our eyes. As we edge into winter soon, it’s important to stay warm in cold conditions.

Our heads and ears are particularly vulnerable in cold windy conditions. Earmuffs are a little impractical for running. Too bulky. We need something thinner, something lightweight, flexible, and durable. Something we can train and race with as much as we want. Easy to wash would be good. Testing the tech fleece headband, I’ve found that all these are true. As someone with large (huge some say;) ears, it is difficult to keep my enormous ears warm in the cold/wind and with precipitation too (rain/snow). Sometimes this means I have to double-layer things just to keep my ears warm if it isn’t customized for cold weather.

But with this Buff headband, I’ve been able to keep my head and ears warm and comfortable. It makes running so much easier if we can have the warmer sensation that we are carrying some warmth with us on the roads and trails.

I’ve tested the headband by itself and layered with some other Buffs and works well by itself and easily with other Buffs.

Do I prefer it over my ears? Usually yes if it’s colder/windy. But during a run, I may rotate it between above the ears and over the ears. The good news is it is so flexible and lightweight it is super easy to move within seconds.

I haven’t tested it over my neck and mouth although that does seem to be possible. I’ll try that in the future if my ears are warm.

As someone who runs every day, I need gear and clothing that I can count on without hesitation. This is one of those products you definitely want to try and buy.

It’s very easy to wash, just hand wash with cold water. It dries very quickly, much faster than any other headband I’ve ever had.

It is my favorite headband now. You’ll be seeing it a lot. It is impressively versatile, made of Carvico fleece from Italy. Very unique design and weave. High-performance headwear on both roads and trails that is tried, true, and tested. I’m very amazed with how well it works.

On Sunday, I tested it during a half-marathon, the Good Life Halfsy here in Lincoln. I wore it over another Buff and under a visor (sunny during part of the race). I did take the visor off when I got too warm and to adjust the Buff over my ears or back above my ears if cold/windy portion of the race. So now I’ve tested it as the bottom layer, middle layer, and on top and it works well in all of those spots if you love to layer like I do.

It is the gentlest fabric, you will not even notice you have it on (except when you remove it). It didn’t cause any discomfort and it was a delight to wear and use every single time I tried it.
