Memorial Day: a day of honor and remembrance to pay proper homage, respect, and remembrance to our veterans, especially those who gave their lives during service, and their families for the immense sacrifices that they have made for our freedom. Do you have special veterans in your life in your family or among your friends? I do, I especially think of my Grandfather, Capt. Harlon Harvey (USNR), a World War II vet who died right before Memorial Day last year. So hard to think of this day without thinking of Grandpa and all the others who have served us so honorably and so well.

Grandma & Grandpa Harvey (Marie & Capt. Harlon Harvey, USNR, WWII veteran) and the flag from grandpa's funeral. One of my favorite photos of my grandparents, taken at a friend's wedding when they were very young.

Our military forces and their families have sacrificed so much. We humbly owe them our thanks, honor, and gratitude.  Go visit or pick up the phone and #ThankaVet today! #HonortheFallen #RememberourHeroes on #MemorialDay today. May God bless you all and may God Bless America!
